Hello there! My name is Sam, the owner and resident squirrel lady behind The Merry Wick!

The Merry Wick actually started in the summer of 2020 thanks to Taylor Swift. Inspired by her first pandemic album release "Folklore", I loved the songs so much I wanted to experience them in a new way and decided to create candle scents that I felt reflected the songs.

In the Fall of 2024 I started to feel like I wanted to take The Merry Wick in a new direction. After becoming friends with out backyard squirrels, discovering Calico Critters, and rediscovering Beatrix Potter, I dreamed up the world of Button Willow, it's residents and their personalized scents and seasonal products!

Other than running The Merry Wick, I love animals, but am especially fond of woodland creatures and goats. I also love baking, cooking, and endless forms of arts and crafts.
